When planning everything out i wanted to make sure everything made sense. The owl is meant to represent someone who has always been in the dark, and doesn't know what direction to take in life. The lady takes the leap of faith and searches for the light.I researched how to present all of this the correct way, by getting in contact with a magazine company called UCB. They told me that clarity is important so choosing the write type face is important.Especially for those who have bad eye sight. So i took all this information on board.
I also spoke to people around my area on what there perceptions are. There response was better than i initially thought. They were very interested in the project and wanted to know more.I was very surprised because most people are put off of anything to do with religion. The thing that made it appealing was the imagery and the fact that it does not use cliche images such as crosses.
